RAS Delivers Rapid Progress on NIC Student Housing with Off-Site Construction

Ron Anderson & Sons Ltd. (RAS) is leading the construction of North Island College’s new Student Housing Commons by fabricating wall and floor panels offsite in their Chemainus facility. This streamlined process allows two full trucks of panels - equivalent to 7,000–8,000 sq. ft. - to be delivered daily to the Courtenay build site. The project, which will provide 217 student beds and meet the highest tier of BC’s Energy Step Code, demonstrates RAS’s commitment to green building, local employment, and construction efficiency through precision tools and minimal waste.
